We were still hanging on to the whole festive
period excitement till today when we took down the Christmas decals from the
shop windows. To be honest we meant to take them down last week but it turns
out that peeling off window decals is not a piece of cake.
So after 2 hours, 2 rolls of kitchen towel and two
bottles of Mr. Muscle window cleaner the windows are sparkly and no sign of
Christmas remains.
As we were working our biceps peeling the window
decals off I couldn't help but miss the festivities, exchanging pleasantries
with strangers and all the glitter and sparkle that comes with the season.
And that got me thinking of how we can use some
sparkle to beat the January blues.
Accessorizing is the easiest way to convert a bland
or plain outfit into one that looks both glamorous and well thought out. There
is something about accessories that make them completely transform an outfit.
If you have a dinner date or a night out after
work, why not change your plain studs or hoops into some stunning diamante
chandelier earrings? Or if you have a party to attend and you can't
afford to splash out on an outfit, why not invest in a new set of jewellery and
match it to your existing dress?
