How to wear dresses in the winter

Dresses make dressing up really easy. You simply just need to find the right footwear and you are good to go. It’s also true that some ladies are not comfortable wearing pants.

The truth is that there is no beating the easiness and breeziness of a dress either during the day or at night.  However, during the cold weather, making a dress work is close to impossible. Shining while your bare arms freeze is not an appropriate look for the cold weather. For this reason, you may find yourself pushing all your dresses to the back of your closet and drowning yourself in a sea of unflattering winter wear for the sheer convenience.

So how do you make your dresses versatile enough to be worn through the season? We have put together some interesting and sneaky ways through which you can incorporate dresses into your winter wardrobe . This will allow you to add some spice to your winter outfits.  `The secret is to figure out ways to add layering to cover up your arms and legs. Wondering how? Well, let me show you using some of our sample dresses.

Floral printed dresses
This little gem is not only fancy but it also adds a feminine and flirty vibe. The beautiful pop of colors can be heartwarming especially during the cold hands of winter. So how do you brighten up your look without freezing?

You will need leggings for this preferably a black pair. However, the color is not limiting you can experiment as much as you want. Second, you will need a pair of black or brown ankle boots. You may also choose a knee-high boot. Then finally add a trench coat either in orange or brown.

Pleated dresses
How about some pleats this winter. I love this dress because it is so easy to wear. You can wear it with black leggings and black mid length boats. After this, you can wear a hip length coat. To add some flavor to your look you can rock a colorful clutch bag.

Black is one of the basic winter colors. However, you can play around with the layers of clothing you choose to add some splash and pop to your outfit.

A slight note is that you should not stray too far from the basic winter colors when choosing tights, leggings or tights. The good news is that you can be creative with the coats, blazer or crop jackets as well as the scarfs. If you expect to be out for long you can extend an extra layering by adding a turtleneck or camisole underneath your dress.
