A Dress for your Daughters First Date

Are you tired of yelling, "That's not appropriate or "that's too sexy "every morning?

Well, the good news is that at The Dress Shop by Ahadi, we have stocked our shelves with the latest most elegant designs that will have your girls awing in delight. We make it a point to balance our designs between sexy, chic, and elegance. So that both daughter and mama walk away smiling.

One of our happy clients Doreen came in last week with her daughter Sophie. Though I have seen them come in together on several occasions, I could see there was something different on this day.

The girl seemed a little chirpier than usual, unlike the days when she dragged herself in behind her mum busy on her phone. On that day, she was holding her mums' hands, giggling and chatting away happily.

Since Doreen had requested some adjustment on a gown, she had purchased previously, and I assumed she was here to collect it. As I was about to go get it, she said, "Rose, that can wait. We are here for Sophie. She is going on her first official date."

Sophie was smiling shyly, and this time her phone was tucked away in her pocket. I could see that she oozed of elegance and beauty; unfortunately, all that was hidden beneath some bulky mum jeans and a heavy hoodie.

I have always wanted to be a godmother to a Cinderella. I knew my chance had come. Finding the perfect dress for Sophie was easy; I actually got it right on the first trial.

I knew she would not be able to resist our gorgeous short, off-shoulder dress with spaghetti straps. The short and sweet dress, combined with the feminine grace of the chiffon material, enhanced the beautiful personality of the young lady. The fact that it was neither too short nor too showy would keep her feeling comfortable throughout the date.

Sophie was so excited about her choice that I could see her cheeks glow. As for her mother, she was beside herself as she witnessed the transformation of her little girl into a young lady.
They took two of the designs, citing that with so many special occasions lined up, it would come in handy.
