When i saw her, i expected a very loud and opinionated personality but i was surprised at her soft and almost shy personality. I call her ms Camouflage. Whenever she passes by a group of people , you'll see stares and people whispering in low tones, probably wondering what sort of person would pierce their face so heavily.
So when she asked me to help her get a wedding dress, i wasn't even sure where to start. We had a chat over coffee and she told me that she didn't want the usual "blushing bride in white" sort of dress.
She wanted a black dress for her wedding. She didn't want any bling on the dress. She wasn't sure whether she wanted it long or short.
From her "desire list" i was at a loss. I was beginning to feel like this would be one very dull wedding. Then, she said she loved her toned arms and the front of her legs but not the back of her legs (weird!). So i asked her to describe her dream dress and one of the first things she said was open back, among many other things which didn't make sense (sorry Cindy).
So i set out to look for a dress for Cindy that was black,not long, not short, with no bling, open back, showing arms and front of legs but hiding back of legs. It wasn't one of those assignments that i can say i was looking forward to till i saw this dress.
It met every criteria except one, it had bling on it.But it was black bling not sparkly silver. I was hoping that she would be so pleased with the rest of the dress that the black bling wouldn't really matter.
So she came in for fitting today and she shed tears. She loved the dress , actually she is so pleased with it that she gave me a tip! Ha yeah my very first tip since i started this job!
