Angela’s boyfriend Lee had been miles away for close to 6
months, and she missed him terribly. She told me that one of the reasons why
she loved Lee so much was because of his kind and helpful nature. However,
Angela had started feeling like she couldn’t cope with being far away from him
for s. So where is he now? I asked her as I poured her some coffee. He is in
Rwanda, where they are trying to hold peace talks with different leaders. However, he would be coming back in a few
days and even better is the fact that he will be around for valentine day.
During one of their gym sessions together his little sister
had slipped up and mentioned that Lee was looking for an engagement ring.
Angela knew that her boyfriend was extremely close to his sister and if he was
making such plans then he must have shared it with her. After her boyfriend
started making definite plans for valentine though he was so far away, she knew
something was cooking.
According to Lee’s plans, he had made dinner reservations at
a nice restaurant with claims that he wanted them to have some quiet time
together. Knowing that valentine day may
hold some life-changing experiences for her, Angela had come to the boutique
looking for a dress that would be suitable for the occasion.
Now, here we were her face brimming with expectations. I
