Me: When is the wedding?
Her: Some time in future
Me: Ok,what sort of dress do you want?
Her: Anything suitable for a wedding
Me: When do you want to have the dress?
Her: (Sounding exasperated) I have the money just get me the dress!!
I was just thinking, work with me girl. It's not about the money. I need to know how much time you have so we can go through different styles and know when we can place the order. Those thoughts were not verbalised.
So i just stood and looked at her. She got out her iPhone , scrolled through her photos, pointed at a picture of a dress and said "i want a dress like this in white. When can i come and pick it up?"
Am thinking, no it doesn't work like that. I don't even know what size you are and whether i can get a similar dress.
So i asked her what her size was.She looked up at me, sneered and muttered "size 12 ". She was so antagonistic it was unbelievable.
I was quite hesitant, something didn't feel right but i took the order anyway. When the dress got here last week , i called her to come in for a fitting and she came in on the same day. She tried the dress on and unlike other customers she didn't come out of fitting room to show me or ask for an opinion . She just changed back into her clothes and said "It's perfect, pack it!"
At this point i asked her how she knew about me she said "A person i hold in high regard recommended you". So i said goodbye and thanked God i wasn't marrying her!!
