Have you ever pictured yourself in this dress in your head. The dress is so real, you could almost touch it and you know that it's the perfect dress for the occasion you are going to. So you set out looking for it and you simply can't get it? Shop after shop and nothing fits the image you have in your head. You can't really describe it, but it's the proverbial "I'll know it when i see it" situation.

Sometimes all you need is a "blank canvas" for you to come up with the look that you have in your head. Am talking about going for the plainest dress that you can get , so that you can make it your own by accessorising it to your taste.

So i was invited to a baby naming ceremony and i thought i should wear pink because it was a baby girl.  I was looking for a smart pink plain maxi dress even though i don't really like pink. Most of what i found ,had loads of embellishments and i thought that was too much for this particular occasion.

It was looking like i would end up wearing a red dress, when i stumbled upon this dress and i fell in love with it. I wore it with a white shrug and had a white corsage flower on my hair. I have this pretty white and pink cross between a purse and a clutch so i used that to hold my items.

It worked perfectly and what i loved most about this dress is that i can dress it down for a normal summer day or add some sparkly silver statement jewellery for a party.
