Dresses for All Ages

Once you hit your 50's, your shopping life takes a whole new a whole new turn. You will find that most times you walk out of the stores frustrated and most probably empty-handed. This is because most of these clothing lines sport fashions for millennial's which range in the latest designs, colors and the queerest fabrics you have ever seen. On the other side of these clothing stores are the stocked warm clothes that are likely to make your mother very proud. So, where are the middle-aged ladies to get their elegant gowns when they want to grace a special occasion?

I met Mama Grace during a worship function in my church. I loved her energy and zeal to serve the Lord. After a brief introduction after the service, we connected immediately our conversation going round to all areas of our lives. One of her concerns was that she would not be able to get  a dress for her upcoming 51st birthday. Looking at her, I didn't think that she would have any problems dressing for any occasion. She could see that I didn't understand why this would be difficult. So she asked me, " Rose have you been out shopping with a 50 year old? As the years pass by the areas that you want to hide, and most stores are only stocking clothes that show off even more of these parts."

I took this opportunity to tell her about our boutique The Dress Shop by Ahadi. She was excited to hear that she could actually find dresses she could wear comfortably. We made arrangement for her to meet me in the Shop in the course of that week.

When Mama Grace came into the shop she not only walked away with one dress but two extra pieces for when the need arised. She was so happy that she had finally discovered us. Since then she has been a regular customer of The Dress Shop by Ahadi whereby we recently had the please of dressing her as she walked her eldest daughter down the aisle.
